Dr. David St. Pierre
Fellowship Trained, Board Certified Orthopedic SurgeonDavid St. Pierre was born and raised in Salem, Massachusetts. He was a three sport athlete at St. John's Prep and then on to Harvard. As the 100th captain of football at Harvard, and a two-time NCAA Baseball College World Series participant, he was exposed to many pioneers in the sports medicine field. This sparked his interest in the field of sports medicine. His tenure as Chief Resident at New England Baptist Hospital and Fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston provided excellent background in both sports medicine and joint replacement, the common outcome of earlier joint injuries. These two areas are the main focus of his orthopedic practice. Dr St. Pierre spent twenty five years as the team physician for many area high schools, including St . John's Prep, Salem High School, and Danvers High School. He served over twenty five years as team physician to Salem State College and is currently the Medical Director of the Athletic Training Education Program at Salem State University.
